Meetings are usually held at 11:30 a.m.
on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
However, we occassionally change the time or location of a
monthly meeting to accommodate our speaker's availability or a
holiday. Please verify the next meeting time and location

If you are a licensed or registered professional, such as professional engineer,
you probably need Professional Development Hours (PDH). P.E.s in Texas are required
to have PDHs by the Continuing Education Program specified by the Texas licensing board.
This requirement also applies to Professional Geologists and other professionals.
Most programs require 15 PDHs per year, with 1 PDH in the area of professional ethics.
Did you know that participating in A&WMA activities qualifies for PDH units?
Attending an A&WMA lunch meeting, preparing and presenting a program, and assuming a role
in the leadership of the Association qualify for PDH units.
A&WMA certainly wants to promote professionalism among A&WMA Members.
In 2010, A&WMA North Texas Chapter will begin providing members who want a formal record
of their activities a certificate for documenting the activities.
An example of the certificate is as follows:

If you are a P.E., P.G., or other licensed or registered professional who must
accumulate professional hours for continuing education credit, please send me an email
(phil.daily@aecom.com) and let
me know your requirements and any questions you have.
In the future, mention the PDH certificate to the A&WMA leaders when you are entering
the meeting and make sure you provide an email address so the certificate can be emailed to you.
