Christine M. Ruffner and Stephanie K. Smith of Cantey Hanger will speak
about the bases of liability for environmental engineers and consultants,
provide examples of cases in which courts and juries have found
environmental consultants and engineers liable for work performed, and
provide suggestions of language to include in contracts to protect
yourself, whether "you" are the hiring entity or the engineer/consultant.
