Topic: What? Me Liable? Avoiding Legal Pitfalls

Christine M. Ruffner and Stephanie K. Smith of Cantey Hanger will speak about the bases of liability for environmental engineers and consultants, provide examples of cases in which courts and juries have found environmental consultants and engineers liable for work performed, and provide suggestions of language to include in contracts to protect yourself, whether "you" are the hiring entity or the engineer/consultant.

New NAAQS Modeling Challenges - Slide Presentation Available
At our August Chapter meeting, we discussed new regulations and modeling challenges posed by the new NO2, SO2, and PM2.5 standards.
Mr. James Red of BEE-Line Software/Oris Solutions has provided the NTx A&WMA with his slide presentation, “Modeling Issues with the New National Ambient Air Quality Standards.”   You may download the presentation here.   Our thanks to Mr. Red for making the presentation available to the North Texas environmental community.
